Hockey

hamedan Hockey team has been taken part in almost all important matches from its beginning in 1973, because of using skillful coaches had an active role in its activity. It gained the third place of Tehran games which were held in Azadi complex. Recently Hockey school has been founded under the supervision of skillful coaches and girls' hockey team has begun its activity. It took part In Young Asian Young games in Malaysia and Asian School games in India in 2000.
Totally, Hamedan Hockey team with skillful coaches and two national judges is considered as an important basis for country 's Hockey sport So that up (0 now it has gained more than 17 (first, second. and third) places.

Tarik Darreh Ski Piste

Hamedan first ski piste was stablished at the end of Eram Boulevard, beside the Racecourse in 1974 but Hamedan ski board transferred it to the Tarik darreh in Alvand mountain. Its distance from Hamedan is ten kilometers, because there was not enough snow Among the Contry's pistes, its distance from the city IS the least: it can be reached by Abbas Abad Valley and Ganjnameh road. Its length is about 600 meters and its steep is 25%. This piste can be used in January, February, March, April and May. There are three 2000 meters length ski lifts; two for adults and one for children.
